Growing up in Kansas I began sewing at young age. Taught by my grandma I learned to love sewing. Although I didn't sew much clothing until college. In high school I started to participate in theatre. I spent most nights in my local community theatre. Eventually I got involved in costumes. I designed a few shows at the end of high school and my first year of college. I graduated from Kansas State University in 2025 with a B.A. in Theatre. While in college I focused in on costumes. I worked in our costume shop all four years. I was also able to take two patterning classes thanks to our wonderful shop manager. I discovered that I loved costume technology although I do still enjoy design.
